Cocoa Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cups grated cocoa stick
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 8 cups milk
  • Ground roast cashews
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • Sugar to taste

Method:
  • Gently heat milk in pan on stove top
  • Add grated cocoa stick into warm milk, add spices and cashew, stir gently and bring to low simmer for 5 minutes
  • Mix flour with a small amount of cold water, stir in some of the hot cocoa mixture and return to the same pan
  • Heat for another minute stirring well
  • Strain through a fine strainer, add sugar to taste and serve hot
